Day 2 – The role which made you fall for him : John Thornton in North and South. 

I’ve watched N&S last November (yes, I’m pretty new to this Armitage addiction 🙂 ) out of boredom. After reading so much good reviews about it, I gave it a try. First 10 minutes of episode 1, good, but not that good. I was waiting for something to happen. And then, he appeared. At first I thought he was just a pale imitation of Darcy (the tall proud and brooding guy). But within seconds, this terrible “see ya !!”, and he turned himself into a vulgar man beating the crap out of one of his employee. It might seem weird, but that’s what hooked me, because he was nothing like what I’d expected. By the end of episode 2, I was his.

2ème jour – Le rôle qui vous a fait succomber : John Thornton dans Nord et Sud.

J’ai regardé Nord et Sud en Novembre dernier par ennui (oui, je suis plutôt nouvelle dans l’armée d’Armitage :)). Après avoir lu plusieurs bonnes critiques dessus, j’ai décidé de lui laisser sa chance. Les 10 premières minutes de l’épisode n’étaient pas mauvaises, mais pas franchement bonne non plus. J’attendais qu’il se passe quelque chose. C’est là qu’il est apparu. Au début, je pensais que ce n’était qu’une pâle imitation de Darcy ( ce grand gars ténébreux et fier). Mais en quelques secondes, ce terrible “je t’ai vu !!!”, et il s’est transformé en un homme vulgaire battant violemment un de ses employés. Cela peut semblé bizarre mais c’est qui m’a titillé mon intérêt, car il n’était pas du tout comme je l’avais imaginé.

Pour citer Recycledvinyl, c’est à ce moment là que j’ai commencé à faire des recherches sur lui.
